The hsa package contains nine classes to help students write interesting programs sooner without getting bogged down in Java's complexity. The Console and TextConsole classes allows students to start doing input and output quickly and simply without having to master the Java class library. The classes allow students to save or print their output.
Additional classes include Stdin and Stdout to allow easy reading of primitive data types from standard input and simple formatted output to standard output and TextInputFile and TextOutputFile to allow easy opening, reading and writing of ASCII files.
